We recently shot our gorgeous muse Aida Lucie on the rocks of Keri Beach in Goa for Rise, our collection celebrating Serpent Power, the Divine Feminine Creative energy. It felt very aligned for us that Aida wore these stunning serpent illustrated pieces as she herself is passionately devoted to the liberation of Feminine Energy as a Holistic Sex and Intimacy Expert.

We dived a little deeper into Aida’s world to learn about her personal journey with this Sacred Creative Energy, her exploration of the teachings of Tantra and Taoism and why she has committed herself to this mission and path of Female empowerment.

Aida, what first brought you to India?

I first came to India when I was 18 to dive into Yoga & Ayurveda. A year later I unexpectedly stumbled across the world of Tantra and have been immersed in it ever since. Nowadays I come to India every year to visit different Tantric temples and deepen my Tantric studies, and of course also to unwind in Goa 😉

What inspired you to explore Tantra and Taoism?

I always had an intuitive sense that we don’t need to move away from the world in order to live a spiritual life, so when I came across Tantra it truly spoke to my Soul. The core view of Tantra is that there is no split between the mundane and the spiritual, and that every moment of life offers us a gateway into more depth and remembrance. I love how life affirming these traditions are and how profound the practices are.

Tell us more about your experience and relationship with Feminine Energy?

To me, I feel most in touch with my Feminine Energy when I come back into my body. So much of our time is spent in our heads; thinking, stressing, planning… It’s so easy to forget to slow down from time to time, to drop into our body, to spend time in nature, to breathe, to move, to dance…. This is the gift of the Feminine. She brings us back into our bodies, into our senses, into pleasure.

You recently married your partner in Rishikesh on the banks of the Ganges in North India. How has your partnership supported your own personal transformation?

Oh, how has it not?! 😉 There has been no greater spiritual teacher for me than my intimate relationship! I’ve gotten to know myself on such deep levels through our relationship. I’m lucky to have an amazing partner who shares the same values as me & who is also deeply committed to growth and personal development. We learn so much from each other, we help each other grow, we support each other’s dreams,… To put it simply; I wouldn’t be the woman I am today without this 7 year love story <3

What does it mean, to you, to rise as an empowered woman in the world today?

To me, it means to live a life that’s in alignment with your Heart.

To break free from societal conditionings and dare to carve out your own path.

To take leaps of faith and be courageous in the pursuit of your dreams.

To trust in your inner guidance & intuition.

To dare to dream big. To speak your truth. To stop hiding or playing small.

To remember that your softness is your power….and to let yourself shine bright!
