We love to celebrate the power and mystery of the moon.
Her cycles invite us to honour the ebb and flow of our own creative energy. To reconnect with Nature. To be barefoot on the earth or go wild swimming. To bathe under her cool and luminous light.
To set intentions and craft visions of the future at the New Moon and to dance, sing and let go with the Full Moon.
How might your dreams grow and your intentions manifest if you bring the energy of the moon into your life?
Sacred adornment, jewellery worn for beauty, magic and empowerment, has been part of the practice and rituals of Priestesses and women since ancient times.
Some of the Jewellery designers that inspire us work with powerful symbols such as the Moon, the Zodiac, the Modern Primitive, the Alchemist. They celebrate the power of transformation, of the unseen and the Great Mystery that we are a part of.
Feeling inspired?
We are… and in our jewellery collection online you will find the stunning moon-inspired Alchemist’s Rotary Pendant which shows the full moon cycle as well as incorporating elements of the Zodiac and the seven Planetary symbols. It attunes us to our natural cycles and with the Latin inscription, ‘solve et coagula’, it is a symbol of a unified Self – how can we share our wholeness?
We also adore the Mini Celestial Ear Jacket, part of the Rachel Entwistle Astral collection which was created as a homage to the universe exploring planetary formations and cosmic patterns and celebrating ‘the timeless wisdom and guidance of the stars’.
Jewellery has always been a symbol of intent, for instance as a protective talisman or a conscious reminder of commitment (what is a wedding ring after all?).
Symbols have been used since ancient times and symbology is a global language that carries a depth of meaning beyond words. Right now we are drawn to symbols of strength, rebirth and transformation. How can we re-envision our world, cities, oceans and forests. How can we each help to dismantle and let go of the old ways and structures that no longer serve us or the earth and come together to co-create to build a better, more kind, equal and sustainable future.
The Ouroboros Snake ring carries the ancient symbolism of the cyclicality of nature, eternity and resurrection. It inspires the potential for dissolution, rebirth and change.
What symbols are you drawn to?
The power of these symbols comes to life when we will build a conscious connection with them. For instance if we choose the symbol that resonates with us and adorn ourselves with beautiful meaningful jewellery we can deepen our relationship with that meaning.
Ishtar, the Sumerian Warrior Goddess of strength and love is a powerful symbol of the Divine Feminine energy that we are calling forth in our lives right now to inspire and activate conscious change and the Power of Love, over the love of power, for healing within ourselves, for each other and for our planet.
We are in love with these stunning Ishtar Earrings which remind us of the powerful but luminous force of the Divine Feminine energy.
We choose jewellery to compliment our clothes and love bold pieces which echo our connection to Nature, our creative energy and our nomadic spirit.
The designers we work with are inspired by traditional methods, tribal crafts, textured materials and powerful symbols and work as much as possible with recycled metal and sustainable stones.
